WELCOME TO REHS PHARAOH FRESHMAN ACADEMY

 We are the Raleigh Egypt High Freshman Academy. We are the small wheel which keeps all the big wheels rolling in the right direction. We are the foundation of your child's long range goals. At the academy, we teach your child to think critically, solve problems, and comprehend vast amount of written materials.

Our instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. Our administrators are firm yet fair. We prepare the children to pass the state-mandated tests (Gateway and End-of-Course). We provide the knowledge to be able to select a career academy focused around the child's career goals. Our instructors utilize some of the latest strategies and technology to facilitate learning.

The Small Learning Community (SLC) concept that we have adopted allows us to not only provide quality instruction, but it also provides a closer bond between students and teachers. A bond of trust allows the teacher the opportunity to really know the student in order to better utilize all the resources we have available to the best benefit of the student. Teaching combined with gentle behavior molding in a nurturing and fun environment, that is the very basis of the Freshman Academy SLC.
